| I'm
still in the process of "gettin" my act together to start blogging once
again. It's been, what.. like half a year since I last posted something
blog-worthy. Buddies back in Melaka have given up on me blogging and
have since stopped butchering me with "why-never-blogs", yen and
neTte are "busy" with "things" that they no longer give a hoot
about posting on my behalf (kidding yea?), and college mates who see me
just about EVERYDAY dub my blog as "the abandoned site". So since I
have finally gotten broadband connection over here in KL, I am proud to
say that my blog is back in business! haha.. Fellow blogspots, I am so
sorry I can't link y'all here BUT I might just post the same entry here
in my previous blogspot - www.thextinctone.blogspot.com
There's
a buncha pictures I wanted to blog few months back but never got to due
to a "fried motherboard, and fried speakers" so here are some pictures.
Visiting the Lees in Singapore -
(during my visit 2 years ago, Martin dropped my camera and I wasn't
able to take any pictures of that visit. last year, I made sure the
kids were EXTRA careful when handling my camera and EXTRA careful they
were...- Timmy accidentally deleted all my few hundred pictures I took
prior to the visit of their home..=) Well, these are pictures I took
after. Oh, all is cool, he's still my favorite and I love him still)
Timmy boy! Temperamental dude alright but he's my favorite!
The other 2 Lee kids - Martin and Alysha ; Timmy boy and Martin
Aunty Grace and I

the Ngs: Adelia, Amelia and Andre

A night out with the Ngs
Aunty
Alysha was driving past the Esplanade when we got the inspiration to
get a picture on the steps. We were given a maximum of a minute to get
a shot before the police stops and gives her a ticket for parking at
the side of the road. Ha...; a mosaic of tiles outside the entrance of
the Esplanade all the way to the steps where we sat to take the mini
group picture =)
Helping out at the Character Camp with the Tehs:
It
was sucha blessing to see the kids responding to what was being said
and taught and to see what God was doing..altho it was challeging initially. `

somemore...)

from *neTte* on behalf of Suzline...
Okay, these pictures are just copied from my
latest blog post but they're all pictures of events in which either Suz
was in or Yen was in so I am helping Suz post some pix since her blog
is suffering from such a dearth of bright, happy pictures.
I'll let her edit the captions whenever she sneaks some time off her
classes or even sneaks online during classes to chat or update her
blog. But don't get me wrong, she is not failing in class. Actually she
got full marks on her last Moral test! *holds up applause sign* Yeah,
everyone clap for my little Suz did so well on her test. Okay well,
here are some pix till she actually gets her own from KL.
Celebrating Jason's 19th Birthday Handmade card by Yen & the gift from Suz/Yen
I love this picture
And this is after the giggles
Suz
was back in Melaka on CNY break from college so I went to stay the
night after Jase's bday dinner. Well, we didn't sleep very much. We
arrived home at 1am and I checked out their new nanos and Suz' new
laptop, then did Yen's hair and after that did a french manicure for
Suz. Then we did some self-portraits and laughed ourselves silly and
talked till 6.30am when I finally decided to go have a shower. We woke
up at about 9.30am and Suz went back to KL while me and Yen got ready
to go CNY visiting with my rents. We were so tired but it's the holiday
season, it seems like such a shame to just stay home and sleep so we
had a quick nap at my place before heading out again to the boys'
soccer game. We brought pillows, a blanket, my laptop, and Cinderella Story to watch with the kids on the sidelines. haha. Four minutes before the movie ended my laptop ran out of battery and died on us. hahahaha... Model in the making
Ain't she pretty?

OUR SELF-PORTRAITS Please excuse the narcissism

Fast forward to the next weekend...last Friday MATT'S FAREWELL Matt
is going to uni in NZ and we had a youth meet/farewell party for him.
He had 12 non-Christian classmates and friends come so we didn't really
have a lesson but we still wanted them to be exposed to God's love. We
had dinner, games, singing, a short discussion on true love (God's
love) vs. once-a-year-love on Valentine's Day, and we had three guys
pray for Matt and then.... water games in the pool!!! We didn't leave
till midnight. I hope our youth were good testimonies to Matt's
friends. I think they were. Do you notice anything strange in this picture? Click on it for a larger view. Well, if you don't notice anything, then I win. hahaha
And
Suz came back just for the party!!! That little liar. She told me she
wasn't coming and lied to me on MSN and then blocked me coz she
couldn't come up with anymore believable lies!!! But I am glad she came
anyways.
Egbert, Mark, Suz, & neTte Egb came back just for the party too.
Praying for Matt on his last week in church Saturday
Yen made this amazing book thing for him and we all signed on the pages inside of it.

Lucas' Birthday! Sunday, 12th of February Lucas
turned 10 and we were at the soccer field/badminton courts and so the
boys paused their soccer game and the girls paused their badminton game
to sing happy birthday to him.
Can you spot SuYen?
FAREWELL FOR MATT ROUND TWO (Monday) We're
always just finding some excuse to party. He's not leaving till Friday
and we're probably going to have a final game of volleyball on Thursday
and then dinner afterward again. haha. Anyways, we took him out after
volleyball to this really pretty place built over the sea in a circular
shape with food stalls around it's perimeter selling ikan bakar. Literally translated: burnt fish.
haha. Well, I think it's grilled fish really. They wrap the
marinated/seasoned fish in aluminum foil and grill it over a charcoal
fire. There's squid, prawns, and see-hams (clams?), nasi-lemak,
roti-john, and fried noodles. Good stuff. Taken from an overlooking tower
Juz and his favourite see-hams (little clam shell things)--Matt and his favourite Garlic prawns
Matt's two favourite dishes: Fried kuay-teow and garlic prawns We
played a game on how well you know Matt at his party and his answers to
favourite food were the above items so I am sure he was very happy last
night. haha
Here's our stinky group after v-ball in the tower (Well, Suz is not in here but Yen is...so I figured I'd leave the picture in)
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
| EDITED: Suz' Farewell till we meet again...
okay well this is neTte and I'm posting on Suz' behalf. It's the same pix that are gona be up on my blog soon but not all of you who visit her blog visit mine sooooo.... this is for you.
Suz is in Kuala Lumpur and has juz started college as Yen has explained. Read her blog for a typical Suz-day-before-she-gotta-leave-for-someplace-typa-day. Well Suz has no computer in her KL home YET and so she juz uses the pcs in the lab at school so no picture updates for awhile.
But she can check her blog so leave her comments!!! And her schedule is packed because other than school, her social life is also fully booked but that's another story that I'm sure she will like to tell you herself. And btw, the pictures are from Suz' last night in Melaka and a bunch of youth went out for a farewell supper for her. Enjoy! Hugz.

This is Su Yen here, Suz’ sister. She has asked me to help her post an entry b4 she left. So since NeTte has just help her post an entry with pictures , I didn't want to post another entry... cause people tend not to comment on the previous post. So that's y I'm posting on the same entry as NeTte.
She’s coping well in her college ( Kuala Lumpur ) and she’ll try to update as soon as she can. Besides not having frontpage & adobe photoshop in the school comp, much to her dismay, she’ll still blog. She ain’t abandoning it!! She’s actually waiting for me to send her a CD of pics to her so she can blog. She misses all of you !! So, wait up for her post!!
So long!

| soooo i was tagged...by... NETTE, of all ppl... =D
5 weird things bout me... (nette, you were correct. i can think of more than 5 weird things.. haha)
1- i can sleep anywhere. i've fallen asleep in the kitchen, bathroom, while brushing my teeth(no kiddin!),while peeling off my face masque, in the car without the air-cond on a scorching hot day, at the mall, at the roadside, slept with my eyes open during my BM class, slept hugging a bench.
2- majority of my friends are either older/waaaaayy older than me, or younger/waaaayy younger than me. few friends my age.
3- i'm pretty extreme/unpredictable. eg: favorite colors are any dark colors and lime green.i cut my hair whenever i feel like it. enjoys outdoors and rolling in mud, loathe Barbies and yet collect beany babies. feel low and cry 1 min, then laugh and be hyper the next. do well when it's least expected...do miserably when it's expected.
4- get very disorganized when things are too neatly arranged. i can function better when my things are all strewn over the table/floor.
5- 1/2 or 1/3 of a Panadol will knock me right off to a few hours' sleep (supposed to take like 2 of that huge tablets.... ewwwww)
there.....5 of them...
nowwwww, i tag.... hhmmmmmm, LAURA, ISAIAH, BRYAN, JON, PEARL.
